In Google Plus you get one more service like Facebook that is SMS Notifications. You can setup Google Plus such that you will receive a SMS for every new notification in your account. You can also update Google Plus by SMS. In this post we will discuss how to setup SMS Notifications in your Google Plus Account.<\/p>\n

First of all you will need to log into your Google Plus<\/a> account \u2013 Now on the top right side<\/em> of your screen \u2013 Click Google+ Settings<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

In the Set Delivery Preferences<\/em> Section \u2013 In front of Phone<\/em> Option- Click Add phone number<\/em><\/span> link.<\/p>\n

In the Country<\/em> Section \u2013 Select your Country (I have selected India among USA and India) \u2013 In the Mobile Number<\/em> Section \u2013 Type your Mobile Number<\/em> and Press Send Verification Code<\/span><\/em> Button.<\/p>\n

After this you will receive a SMS verification code<\/em> on your Cell Phone<\/em> \u2013 Write that code into a new<\/em> text box that appears on the same screen in Google Plus in order to verify your mobile number and click Confirm<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Now Select\u00a0SMS<\/em> radio button that appears below your phone number to activate SMS notification from Google Plus<\/span> other wise it will remain deactivated. In order to deactivate SMS notification from Google Plus \u2013 Just Select Don\u2019t notify me<\/em><\/span> radio button instead.<\/p>\n

Now you have successfully activated Google Plus SMS notifications for your Mobile Phone. In order to customize which notification you want to receive through SMS, just below the same screen \u2013 In the Receive notifications<\/em> section \u2013 Check the activities<\/em><\/span> which will initiate an action that will send a SMS notification to your mobile number.<\/p>\n
